25th wedding anniversary at Lakewood, CO
The senior Bothams with all the grandchildren. The picture we had as a family did not have Harry in it. This picture surfaced recently; it looks like he was having fun trying to make us all smile.
The Botham men in front of 3949 O'Neill Drive, San Mateo, CA. Harry, Martin, Grandad (Harry Senior), and Leslie
I must have made an impression that first "Thursday night."
This is the scrap book Harry made for Shirley in 1947. It is made of alluminun and copper. There was a jewlry box to match. Many of the historical pictures came from this book.
The young man with Shirley and Harry is nephew Jimmy Munroe. It was before any kids came along.
Harry won Shirley by winning over her parents, Leslie and Christina Ivany (left). He called him "son" on their fifth date. That is brother-in-law Bill and Kay Ivany in the middle, and Harry, on the right.
Harry courted Shirley in his Dad's car, Anabell.
The Reverend Canon Wilson also married Shirley's parents.
Harry made their first home. That first winter was very cold, and the only thing keeping it out was the tar paper siding.
This picture was taken about 1955. When we had a mini family reunion near Klamath Falls, OR, we found this same location, and took another picture.
Our family- Martin, Daddy, Mommy, Leslie, and Arlene.
Daddy was always taking naps. It looks like Leslie was also tired.
